50% - 100% cover relates to the maximum volume of the portfolio capable of being safeguarded (not including cash positions). Variants two and three therefore differ in the representation in terms of the earnings. However, this type of cover is not a so-called hedge. With variants two and three, we work exclusively with sold options and therefore cover your portfolio up to the amount of the earnings received. If the falls in the price of your equities or other underlying instruments are higher than the receipts, we are unable to offset all the price losses in the short term. This situation should be taken into account, particularly at the start of an investment. Over the course of time, the underlying instruments (equities etc.) will play less of a role, as the repeated receipts will exceed fluctuations in your portfolio. With our strategies two and three, you also benefit from the time value of the options, which only plays a minor role in pure hedge transactions. This so-called time value loss on option premiums brings you regular earnings, even if there is no great movement in the price of the underlying instruments (equities etc.). You therefore have a type of fixed-term deposit, which you regularly earn in addition in your portfolio.
We are naturally also able to respond to particular requirements outside the three variants. This particularly applies to clients who hold very large single positions in their portfolio and want to have these managed particularly in terms of their requirements with respect to cover premiums or so-called single-stock hedges.
